Mongolia is preparing to open the border by 01 May 2021, following the vaccination process progress Lately, the overall picture of tourism industry in Mongolia looks more promising with the announcement by our Deputy Minister S.Amarsaikhan that the border will be reopened depending on the effectiveness of nation wide vaccination programme which has started. Tourism sector representatives met the Prime Minister and discussed the issues and difficulties faced within the sector. Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene expressed his interest to make every effort to support tourism sector. In order to make it happen, our Government is taking measures to ensure the border checkpoints and airline sector staff and facilities are ready in terms of safety and infection control.
