Day 1 - Arrival in Irkutsk
Arrival in Irkutsk city, Siberian capital and meet the guide upon arrival and transfer to the Guest house in the city center. After that walking guided city sightseeing trip follows tour briefing at welcome dinner. (Guest house-D)
Day 2 - Transfer to Sakhyurt
At 9 AM in the morning, Transfer to the village Sakhyurt for 250 km on paved road and have lunch at cafe en route. The village is located on the banks of the Olkhon Gate Strait, which separates the mainland and the island of Olkhon. Gate Strait to Cape Kobylia head. In winter, you can observe incredible beauty of ice splashes on rocks more than 10 meters high. Have dinner and stay at the camp. (Guest house- B,D)
Day 3 - Cycling to Khuzhir
Start biking through the Small Sea to the village of Khuzhir. It is the only large village on the island with a population of about 1300 inhabitants. In total, there are approximately 1,500 people on the island. Visit to the legendary rock Shamanka (Cape Burhan). The place is considered sacred and revered by the islanders. Biking distance 50 km (Guest house-B,L,D)
Day 4 - Cycling to Uzury
Bike to the only village on the eastern side of the island - Uzury. It was founded on the basis of a weather station opened here in 1953. On the way stop for lunch at Cape Khoboy. This is the northernmost tip of the island of Olkhon. Khoboy is translated from Buryat as a fang. The rocky cape really resembles a molar from the water. Biking distance 55 km. (Guest house- B,L,D)
Day 5 - Cycling to Cape
Bike to the Cape. Every winter you can observe many ice hummocks reaching a height of 2-3 meters. Also near the cape there is always open water - thermal springs from the bottom of Lake Baikal heat the water, preventing it from freezing even in severe winter frosts. Today we will pass Cape Izhimey. Around him there are many mysterious legends and traditions. It is interesting that on Izhimey there is the highest point of the island - Mount Jima (1274 m), and here - the deepest place on Lake Baikal (1642 m).Overnight in a tent on the shore of Lake Baikal. Dinner by the fire. Biking distance 65 km. (Tent-B,L,D)
Day 6 - Cycling to Sakhyurt and transfer to Irkutsk
Bike to the village of Sakhyurt. On the way stop for lunch in the Idibah Paddy. Meet our bus in Sakhyurt and transfer back to the Irkutsk. Biking distance 25 km. (Guest house- B,L,D)
Day 7 - Day trip to Listvyanka
Return day trip to Listvyanka where we see another beautiful coast of lake Baikal and little village. (Guest house- B)
Day 8 - Departure
Departure transfer to the airport and say good bye. (B)
